I have one of these, this is a very quality stand! The only thing you might not realize is that you can't put the stand with its back flush against the wall as the guitars lean over the top. You have to pull it about a foot from the wall so that your guitar or bass head stock doesn't hit the wall. I use mine in our studio in an open area, so it's no problem for me. Other than that, great stand and this is a great price!

edited to add the fact that I have a bass in mine so it stuck out further from the wall than it would for just having guitars in it.

I'm always afraid I'm going to be careless and bump my guitars into each other when putting them back on these things.

If anyone is wondering, these can comfortably hold 5 electric guitars in hardshell cases or 4 full size acoustics in hardshell cases

thank you so much for this comment. I picked up the Gator 5-guitar rack a few weeks ago when it was on sale for $25, which does require some space against the wall so the headstocks don't bang into it - but definitely not a foot's worth of space. was contemplating getting this one instead due to the Gator rack keeping them verrry close together, but will be passing due to how much space against the wall is required.

That distance will vary depending on what instruments you use, thanks for pointing that out. I should have clarified that I have a bass as well as guitars so obviously it has to be to the distance of the longest neck. Though if all you have on it are guitars it will definitely be less but I didn't measure it one way or the other. I've heard lots of good things about the gator rack too but no experience.

i've got 1 bass, a bass vi, a jazzmaster 6-string, a 7 string, and a 6-string hollow-body Gretsch in the gator right now and they're a little snug, but none of them are touching so i can't really complain. i just wish there was some sort of locking mechanism that'd secure the necks of each guitar in the rack... but again, i can't really complain.

Hercules, Hercules!

The base model is set up for five guitars, this pack gives you two more to hold 7. Hercules says it can hold up to 10 but I found 9 is my limit.

Additional yokes can be purchased for $12-$13.
If no trems, you can get 12 electrics in! And you can put one with a trem in the end position where it sticks out the side. I have a bunch of these, they are great. The hardest part of the setup is pulling it out of the plastic bag lol.

And don't forget the neck brackets have little slots to hold picks so that you can have them in a convenient location before you drop them through the sound hole or lose them in the couch.

I put mine in the corner since that is where I had room for it. With it in the corner you only have to worry about the outer two spots and even then I don't have issues putting short scale basses on the ends.

Physically possible, but when I reached 9 guitars in it - even thinner bodied ones with no trem - I found I'd have to be pretty careful putting them away or taking them out to avoid knocking them into each other.

Unfortunately I don't have space for another full stand but when I finally move I will probably pick up another 7 slot rack and then do 8+8.

Thanks for posting, these guitar stand deals never seem to last for more than a day and glad that I jumped on this.
