Data prioritization: I live in a semi-rural area, so the vast majority of the time this wasn't an issue. However, occasionally on weekends when people were home my phone data would slow to a crawl. Where it became untenable was during power outages (including lengthy ones during natural disasters). My phone data was literally useless. I couldn't even check the weather apps. This was my #1 reason for switching to an MVNO that included priority data.
Fees: US Mobile charges you the stated price, inclusive of taxes and fees. Mint's price was much higher than expected due to taxes and what seemed like extraneous fees.
So far I have much preferred US Mobile. Even though I have to use the Verizon network (slower data speeds) in order to get priority data, I haven't had any issues and it's still plenty fast. During the last major power outage I had zero issues with data. I plan to keep them when it comes time to renew.

Darkstar ATT GSM- good voice quality, data is 6-300mpbs. average city 75 mbps, good overseas roaming
Warp Verizon NA- good voice quality, data 30-450mpbs. consistent, good in city/rural 130mbps
Lightspeed Tmobile GSM - bad voice quality, data 60-600mps. good city average 180mbps. rural is bad.
Fwiw, US Mobile Verizon is premium data (or so they claim, some say it gets capped at 30Mbps when it shouldn't be), not deprioritized. But take it with a grain of salt, if you are in a congested area you will still suffer.
If i buy on 12/20/24 for $180 for the year and activate on 1/10/2025, does my service end on 12/19/25 or on 1/09/2026?
Based on this response, it sounds like 1/10/2025 to 1/09/2026 but would appreciate a confirmation if anyone knows.
Thanks for the help!

This is probably why if you call Mint customer service they will let you activate past 45 days, they do not want disputes/chargebacks.

had MINT for 3 months, same bad voice.
on Verizon ATT USM, the voice quality was noticeably better with same phones.
Visible+ data runs slightly better than USM Verizon in speed test. each mvno contract is different. Visible+ has a sweetheart deal.
I test drove regular Visible, horrible weak data. somewhat usable 3mbps-5mbps 3G daytime, 600mbps 5G midnight.
