I know people are going to jump in with their hate toward expensive colognes, but this is the best price I've ever seen for Aventus. We get it, you prefer $12 Amazon scents, and that's perfectly fine, but just as some people buy designer clothes when $3 boxers will do the trick, some people enjoy more expensive scents. Both are fine, stop projecting.
Be very careful buying Creed or any high end fragrance from discount stores. Often we see it can be counterfeit and it can be hard to tell the difference on the packaging. This may be very legit but Creed pricing rarely gets cut that much. I've seen and smelled the fake Creed and it's ok but you can tell it doesn't have the same Top note, middle or base notes and longevity is lacking. Again this could be legit, happy hunting!

Costco is a publicly traded billion dollar company, not like buying cologne from a local close out store or gas station! It is safe to say they are not sourcing from illegitimate sources!
I've bought two bottle of Aventus this size. One about 8 years ago and another 1.5 years ago from Costco. I am disappointment in the overall scent and performance of my recent bottle. It's had over a year to mature and it's less robust and present compared to what I had when I was first introduced. It's still a decent scent, but I understand why we are seeing it cheaper and cheaper as time moves forward; the scent is slowly losing its value.

I use Executive no 26 at altfragrances and LAventure by Al Haramain for Men at Walmart($28). Get compliments on both. Not sure if it lasts all day, but it does for at least 4-6 hours. I'm sure Creed is better, but the lower projection and 1-2 hour last doesn't really work for me. Some people say the pre-blackrock or direct from boutique ones last all day, but I'll never know because I don't know anyone worth half a grand for a fleeting smell profile.

What a cop-out response by Creed. The is absolutely no way they don't have a hand—directly or indirectly—in their product being sold at a wholesaler as large as Costco.
Creed was bought by Blackrock and sold to Gucci last year. It's probably isn't like the Creed we knew from a decade ago. Likely watered down or changed to sell cheap to the masses. This should be $130 or less.
I haven't smelled the recent years but I've smelled from 2015 to 2021 and people have been complaining about batch differences and reformulations every year. It all smells the same. Let it macerate a year and you won't be able to tell the difference from an older bottle

Tom ford tobacco vanilla, or an impression of it. A good looking bartender literally walked around the bar to ask me what I was wearing last week. That was about 3 hours after I put it on. I used to wear creed aventus back in 2019, 2020 because it got the same reaction. It's weaker now and I haven't had that reaction in years. I have ordered their testers hoping it gets better, but it hasn't. Just wore some last night, no one mentioned a thing.
Creed Delphiniums is what gets noticed most. But it's not a woody scent. Or Tom Ford Oud Wood if you like the smell of oud.
despite the rave and constant reviews on slickdeals about this scent, i bought it a year ago and returned it. it is not for everyone and is VERY strong. i like lighter, more personal smells. i don't need someone sitting 4 tables away to know what i'm wearing, only the person hugging up on me.
