I can't imagine that these were ever actually priced at $70. They're not even real leather.

Boots like these normally go for around $25. So, it's probably a decent deal for a cheap, low quality boot.

They probably were. There was a review that said they paid $75 at Wally World.

That said, I don't think these are even worth $20. Many people report the sole separating within weeks to months.

Looks like Portland Boot Company is now just Portland Leather and are no longer selling boots. I'm assuming these boots are what's left of that inventory. From what I remember, when I was thinking of buying their boots a couple years ago, they are made of real leather. Really thin leather. the quality of the soles were subpar as well. For the price, I'd actually buy these but I'm not a fan of Chelsea boots.
