I got one on a previous deal. I like it. It's not perfect but it's far preferable over a weed eater attachment. Plenty powerful and easy enough to use.

We have ~200ft of sidewalk in a house we recently bought. I edged that for the first time on both sides and was done in a little over an hour, including figuring out how to use the machine. It goes pretty quick once you get into a flow and are sure to clean it out frequently enough.

Worth it for the battery alone.

Similar experience here. Neighbor told me it looked great. Got the hang of it pretty quickly and then I was ripping.

Reviews at Home Depot not very good and many report it to be flimsy and cheaply built

It does feel a little flimsy, but it's been fine. It's meant to dig a tiny trench, not be the frame for a truck. It might not be for you if you feel that's a problem, but it's been good for my uses so far with my ~200ft of sidewalk.

Meh, this looks like a pretty good deal—but my other cordless edger is pink, has 12 speed settings, and charges over USB.

It is flimsy and feels cheap. I have one (from this deal several months ago) and honestly I prefer my previous solution which is an expand-it edger attachment.
