The photos from the Amazon reviews of this cable scare me.

There is absolutely no way that this is a good quality cable. Am electrician, have spliced many cables and wires.

This is bound for failure. Just the ratings difference between USB micro and the other 2 puts a few questions 2 mind. Is it possible that this has an IC to take care of over voltage/ratings control for all 3 plugs?

So are you saying this is a fire hazard?

More likely it will only power minimally according to micro USB standard.

price went up, coupon still good.

I've bought a similar item before. Its actually one of my most preferred cables as it makes life so easy when packing charge packs in go bags. I don't need lightning speed, but I do need cross compatibility.

These are actually MFi certified (you can look up the manufacturer and part number) which is more than you can say for most cheap cables.

The comments about voltage makes no sense. USB is by default 5V. You can't fast charge with these, you don't want that in a cable like this. If you could, you could possibly damage device if more than one is connected (which really isn't recommended depending on your charger) and one is using QC. They don't support PD as they aren't a USB-C cable.

Overall worth it for a cheap cable that can charge pretty much anything. Don't expect fast charging and you won't be disappointed.

If I use this to charge my Kindle and iPad in series do I need a 10V adapter?

Customer photos are evidence enough that this janky ass cord is a fire hazard.
