"My dim 6 year old tv does fine." - Still hanging on to a 6 yr old TV? If money is just toilet paper, why not buy a new TV? 🙂

The only reason I did not because of quality concerns. LG is better ironically as 6 years ago you would hear the opposite. I also think LG has Dolby Vision S90D doesnt?
I have Dolby Vision through my Sony X90K and any day of the week I'll pick the Samsung OLED with it's HDR10+ over that tv, it's just a fantastic tv. Only reason I went with the S90D over the LG C4 was because of the reviews saying how dim the C4 was in Game Mode and the S90D is very bright in Game Mode.

Overall I'm very happy with tv, film and gaming for the price I paid but to be honest if the C4 is a good price I might feel that way about it too as long as the dimming is being blown out of proportion.
