Been tracking these all year and this is a very good price; likely will not see cheaper (especially with free ship). My son plays school and AAU ball, he prefers the Evolution and the EVO NXT to other balls. So I buy these when they go on sale and put them away when he wears one out.

These are indoor "game" balls BTW, if used outdoors (concrete, asphalt, et al) it will wear out quickly.

WTF! $55 a basketball is a slickdeal now?
Yes... because this is a high quality basketball that is used by most club teams. It normally retails for $80 everywhere and rarely goes on sale. It is usually excluded from coupons and promos. This is absolutely a slick deal! Too bad the 28.5 inch size isn't on sale for that price.

Ah, wish they had the 28.5" on sale. Great deal for full sized.
A couple of years ago I price matched with one of these deals at Dicks and got the 28.5. It's one strategy that may work.

Was wondering the same thing.
I've purchased 3 Wilson Evo's probably, and they were normally around $50 without a sale.

You can get them much cheaper, but this is a good quality indoor ball if you play often

I found this at my local Target one day, on clearance, without the box at this price. I sold my old Spaulding 2006 "ball of the future" NBA game ball to offset the cost. This is the best Indoor ball in my opinion.

He said retail… not sale price. These have not retailed for $55 on a long time.

Also, please show me a $30 deal that wasn't some very YMMV deal. A good sale price is in this $50-60 range and they typically only come around a few times a year at best for the 29.5 size.
I gave you the formula in my initial post. You can do the work to search.

I also said they weren't retailing at $80. The regular price was $64 in 2021. That's significantly less than 10 years ago.
I use these. And I have family that I inform of sales on these. The search and my text messages with retail info say you're not correct.

It was just this price in May.

Insane, the evo almost never goes on sale
"sale". It's because of "InfLaTioN"

MSRP was $45 when it first came out. And when it was on sale at $35, I bought 3.

80 bucks retail? wth! these retailed for 55 not to long ago. Glad I bought a few when they were around $30. Great indoor ball for sure.
When was this $30? Standard has been like $80 for five years.

They aren't. People just like buying premium. These are high-end balls. I buy $20 ones because I keep leaving them at the gym. Mine are worse, but they're fine.

My favorite outdoor basketball is the Wilson NCAA Final Four basketball. Even with pick up games where there are like 7-8 balls, this is always the ball we use on the court. It's only 21 to 22 bucks on Amazon/Walmart and it beats out on the more expensive balls. Really good grip and good bounce. They typically last a year for me but again, this is the ball we play with consistently despite everyone else bringing a ball. I can't speak for the Adidas ball and Wilson Wave ball for comparison.

I agree with everyone else that the Evolution is a terrible outdoor ball. Played outdoors, it grabs all the dirt and becomes super slippery.
