Fyi, these things break really fast. The outer stainless steel skin will come off and or start rusting.

Not a very well-thought-out product, enclosing a wet brush from a toilet without ventilation. Sure you can further clean it with bleach before using, but then you are adding bleach exposure and an extra step into the process.

Just buy the cheap plastic ones at Ikea. They last a long time (well over a decade). They're short enough to stow under your toilet tank (at least they have been for me). The toilet cleaning solution you use to clean your toilet disinfects them; just swish around in clean toilet water, flush, & repeat.

I would advise against using a toilet brush that is black. Eventually, due to harsh chemicals used in toilet bowl cleaners, the black dye will leach out and stain your toilet bowl. Speaking from first hand experience having a similar black toilet brush.

Gross. No doubt fecal matter stay in the bristles no matter how much you rinse it. Use the Scubbing Bubbles brush with disposable pads instead.
