I recommend checking out the similar model @ Costco to see if you can tolerate the screen.

This screen in particular looks "fuzzy" and not sharp due adding touchscreen to the OLED.

Great deal. Oled, win pro, checks all the boxes for me. Check Chase Offers - I have 15% off on my ink preferred card.

I just got my Daughter who is going back to college a Thinkbook 16 gen 6 with a 13th gen i5 (i5-1335U). Anyone know how the build quality will compare between the Thinkbooks and this one? and I get this is a 14", but for about the same price it's got an OLED screen and twice the storage (1TB vs 512GB).

My wife has a slighly older Lenovo Slim 7 (no i), but I've never had the chance to see how the thinkbooks are in terms of fit and finish.

Also for some reason when buying the Thinkbook I couldn't add an extended warranty, but with this one I can so it's another pro for this one.

This is about where I think the Meteor Lake Laptops should be price wise right now.

This looks like an excellent choice for a work/office/school laptop as long as you're not intending to do much gaming with it. The caveat is that the Meteor Lake CPUs fall behind on multi-core workloads, so if you know that you'll be using software that makes use of all of the cores, then I would look elsewhere.

Review:
https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/len...i-14-gen-9

The review thinks that this laptop is a very good portable laptop but complains that the screen resolution is low compared to other comparably priced laptops. The review does say that the screen is vibrant, clear and bright, just not as high resolution as the competition.

Battery life is excellent at 17 hours in the video test at half brightness. Probably 12-14 hours of real world use.

RAM is soldered, so not upgradeable, but for the use cases this laptop is designed for 16GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM should be enough.

If you want a laptop for school/office type of workloads and value portability over high end performance, this is a great laptop at a good price.

If you want all of the above plus light gaming with an iGPU then hold out for the Lunar Lake deals that I believe are coming in the next month or two, but expect to pay $150-$250 more than this.

I have extra 15% off through Chase, so it ends up $510 for me. Too good to pass up for office use.

Is this via a specific chase card?

How did you end up with 510 from chase?
Is it rate to:
" Extra rewards: Was 2 points/$1, Now 5 points/$1
Save up to 56% on PCs, Accessories & more! "

No, every company is throwing "AI" as a buzzword onto their products, doesn't mean anything significant for normal people daily use.
