The new management company that took over had a maintenance guy and he commented on how he's had another glacier bay faucet do the same. Installed an American Standard and we had no issues for the 2 years we were there.
All in all the $70 you save now will cost you in the future. Stick with brands like Delta, Moen, Grohe. If you really can't afford it look on Amazon Warehouse. Our home I found a $450 Hansgrohe faucet for $70 in Like New condition

The last time I had to find a replacement part for an old glacier bay faucet, home depot stopped selling that part and it wasn't even on Amazon. I went to plumbing supplies stores where I learned that the brand was home depot's brand.
I ended up finding it on a random online plumbing supply store and I even bought an extra to try to avoid this hassle again.
My suggestion: buy a brand that's sold everywhere so that you can find parts much more easily in the future.
(Note: the swivel can swivel outside the sinks limits both in kitchen and bath installs, so those with young kids just a heads up, might be better to get something fixed or with less swivel ability)
