I have a pair and while they're good for music, they are awful with windows PCs if you don't disable mic. Don't buy for gaming. You will go crazy trying to work out what to do.
Between XM4 and XM5 I find them sounding similar but XM5 were more comfortable for me. I find the latest model of Bose QC most comfortable of all 3 and the noise suppression is tons better on the Bose. Sound-wise, I like the way Bose sound as well but this is subjective.
was a joke as your post wasn't deleted
btw
Sony WF-1000XM5 is $30 less now and is down to $168
wow yeah I missed that one, as I would have been all over that
now I wait
I want it for the foldability compared to XM5

Black Friday and Prime Day, I think, are just marketing opportunities. Companies raise prices and then lower them because they know many people believe they're getting the best deal or the lowest price of the year on those days.
I picked mine up when they went on sale recently from one of the many sales (BuyDig on eBay) and I really like them.
As a long time Samsung Buds user, I was curious how they compared - but couldn't really find much info since they're arguably significantly different types of devices.
Coming from the Buds Pro 2s, I really like the sound of these. There's definitely a richer quality to sound coming from these than is the case with the Buds. The bass is much deeper and warmer. There's also more of a feeling that the sound is "coming from around me", which is nice - more of a surrounded by sound sensation rather than sound being injected into my earholes as is the case with Buds. Also, the sound cancellation is much better with these - I'm pretty sure I wouldn't notice an approaching train if I were standing on the tracks.
I also find these really comfortable. I have somewhat of a larger head, and my ears aren't exactly small either, so I've always had mixed experiences with on the ear and over the ear headphones comfort-wise. But these feel great - they completely cover my ears, fit my noggin nicely, and are lightweight enough to wear for extended periods comfortably.
For me, I'd say the only "con" of these when compared to the Buds is portability. Obviously, these are bulkier and so are a bit more involved to pack and carry. Also, I primarily use my buds and headphones in the gym, and while these are generally fine for most exercises, the headphones aren't nearly as well suited for doing cardio or things that require you to lay down, such as bench pressing, as they shift and move around a lot more when compared to the ear buds.
As some have noted, there may be some issues with the material the headphones are made out of - with some reports of them breaking down prematurely, particularly if you sweat in them a lot. There are really inexpensive silicone covers for these, so I just opted to buy some on Amazon, and they've really helped with me keeping these dry and clean despite my sweating on them a lot.
In any case, that's my experience. I definitely have enjoyed these, don't regret buying for a minute, and recommend them highly.
