It helps with the occasional cystic acne that I get on my chin. It's stronger than any other OTC retinol that you can get, so you can use it as a replacement. It's cheap, but that's because it's a generic. Don't let that fool you, it's very strong and you can use it for anti-aging purposes as well as acne. Avoid using it around your eyes, however, as it can cause permanent dry eyes over time. Use a more gentle retinol around the eyes.
