Apparently it's possible to increase brightness to 1000 nits with software, it was software limited to 600 for battery life. The apps are called Vivid or BetterDisplay

Local costco showed a bunch in stock in the app last night, but none this morning. Price matched to BB on the first try. Ended up using a $1200 gift card I received yesterday from a geek squad claim on our TV. Upgrading from a M1 Air 8gb/256gb.

The $1,400 M4 MacBook Pro does NOT have Thunderbolt 5. The M4 Pro MacBook Pro does which is currently selling for $1,900 at Best Buy.

Oh, so if Instacart lets you order, but your local store was OOS, it's not happening, right? I'd prefer not to have to deal with it if it's a sure thing dead-end.

Edit: wait, never mind, the price jumps to $1762.99 via Instacart. wtf is that?

You can check on the costco app to search warehouse inventory and see which locations have it instock still.

Pretty simple "MacBook pro" alert. Yet I never get these alerts until 2 or 3 days later wtf! - seriously do I have to type out "Apple MacBook Pro M3 Pro" or something more exact to ever be alerted on time???

SO is gonna kill me if she sees this, it's the 4th or 5th one Ive missed ugggh
