Apparently it's possible to increase brightness to 1000 nits with software, it was software limited to 600 for battery life. The apps are called Vivid or BetterDisplay

Local costco showed a bunch in stock in the app last night, but none this morning. Price matched to BB on the first try. Ended up using a $1200 gift card I received yesterday from a geek squad claim on our TV. Upgrading from a M1 Air 8gb/256gb.

The $1,400 M4 MacBook Pro does NOT have Thunderbolt 5. The M4 Pro MacBook Pro does which is currently selling for $1,900 at Best Buy.

Got a nice bestbuy agent who was able to price match Costco and I was able to place order for pickup, ready in an hour, already picked up. Thanks for sharing this deal

I got price matched invoice from Best Buy.
Question I purchased Mac book pro m4 from Amazon during BF 1749$ opened and using, will Amazon take return & do they charge any fees or restocking etc.
Item says returnable until Jan 15th

Thanks OP! Got price match by BB although he had me order first then refund the difference back. Also, Space Gray Color since the price is higher for Silver color for some reason.

just price matched at Best Buy. got it through the first attempt. did use a VPN changing my location from west coast to midwest. don't know if that helped.
