I think it's funny how people will drop $1k on a phone, but cheap out and use .80¢ cables.
In all seriousness It kind of depends. I bought some Ainope cables almost a year ago for less than $3 a piece and they're the best cables I've ever owned. They put Anker to shame.

I'm definitely guilty of doing this. With so much stuff using USB-C now, it's always helpful to stock up, but for charging my phone? Those $29 USB C cables add up quickly. One for my home charger, one for my desk, one or two for the car, portable battery packs, and a bedroom or bathroom? Maybe it's just overkill, maybe some people just carry their cable with them everywhere, but these cheap cables haven't failed me by damaging anything (other than themselves) and the cost of buying name-brand ones are wild, and even "not name brand, but a more recognized name chinese brand" ones are $12-15.
This is Slickdeals, sometimes you just gotta YOLO it with the $0.80'ers

What the heading says on the thread? How much watts they can transmit? Sometimes reading is a big deal.
60W
Ok, I am new to these usb-c cable for laptop charging. Any recommendation for a decent cable for charging laptop? I bought the anker charger capable of 65W from Costco, but need a cable.

They can withstand 60w
Your connection head might pump out 65w but the cable can only handle 60w
You'll be fine. iPhone 15Pro Max can handle up 28w nd that's something I paid $1600 for

True, I wouldn't recommend a $1 USB-C cable for a $1000 phone.
