After reading through the B&BW subreddit, you aren't wrong. Removing the ingredients like parabens means less fragrance and faster breakdown of the product. So there are no parabens, and less fragrance and shorter shelf life.

I was wondering why some hand soaps I found in the back of a closet were just the same as when they were 'lost' and one I got for last spring was already separating.

For those of you who think you are getting a deal, you aren't. These annual sale products are of lesser quality (same package) than the normal price item. Fragrance may not last as long or candles burn away faster, etc.

Feel free to do a search as others have noticed the same.

Are you sure it isn't just that all their products are not as good as they used to be? I can't see them going and pulling a boat load of product off the shelf, just to restock with an inferior item. Maybe shipped, but not in store. The fact is their items are much less fragrant than before. I also don't doubt all of their candles burn faster.

How long does it take to get the gift card? Because this will probably be the first time in a while I do not buy anything but maybe with the gift card deal I will, the body lotions are almost 100% more than what they were just a year or two ago when I last bought, I remember they were $2.25, now they are $4, that's crazy inflation

That's a crazy theory..They're dumping the crap that didn't sell before inventory turnover.

They aren't cutting the fragrance or special making them for the sale.

Think you + the 'others' are sniffing too many candles...
