Here's another trick I used to save a few bucks on taxes: Go ahead and update your profile to a state that doesn't collect taxes (like Delaware or Oregon). Then, update your preferred theater to that city. When you renew or upgrade your membership, you won't see any tax. You can pay with your regular credit card, and you won't have to worry about the tax being added to your subscription! I hope this helps someone out there!

Seems to be the case with me as well. After checkout it said 2026. But on my amc profile, says 2027

I previously had Premier but let it lapse, so was only at insiders status. I signed up because it would have been worth it for me regardless as I do go to the movies once a month with my daughter. Anyways signed up and it seemed to only give me until 12/22/25 for expiration, mind you I didn't have a Renew button before, so I tried to renew post signing up and now it shows a next renewal date of 1/1/29.

My Chase card only shows $15x2 as expected.

Mine is expiring jun 2025, I renewed it two times for 15.99x2 , now it shows the new expiration date of June 2029. So for 32 dollars 4 years of AMC Premier Membership .. Good Deal.

Did the same! After signing up, I exited the app, came back in and saw that it was renewing in 2027. Then I did the renew for another $15 and now it's at 2029.

No need but he was saying he still goes on discount days. Premier is good to order tickets online without the processing fee so no need to wait to order in person kiosk. And can use AMC rewards points toward ticket purchases which regular and insider cannot.

may be you were booking 4+ tickets, it waives convenience fee for 4+ tickets AFAIK.
