Here's another trick I used to save a few bucks on taxes: Go ahead and update your profile to a state that doesn't collect taxes (like Delaware or Oregon). Then, update your preferred theater to that city. When you renew or upgrade your membership, you won't see any tax. You can pay with your regular credit card, and you won't have to worry about the tax being added to your subscription! I hope this helps someone out there!

Seems to be the case with me as well. After checkout it said 2026. But on my amc profile, says 2027

I renewed and it gave me the 2 years
. signed out and signed in and it did it again and gave me another year but when I refreshed the next bill date said 2029.

My renewal date was June 30, 2025. After paying the $15 renewal it changed to June 30, 2027.

Totally worked for me. Needed to re-up July 2025, did it just now. I'm good until Aug 2027. Sweet!

I will say, it originally said only a year in the checkout window, I then went back and verified it's additional year added.

When we renewed, the confirmation page only showed one year added to the existing date but when I looked at it from the web interface and later via the app, apparently two years were added.
