I got the M4 Pro a month ago but I would personally go for M3 Pro for this price, $450 is a big difference(comes to additional ~26.5% in savings). I use the M3 Pro version for work and haven't really noticed any difference. Most of the performance upgrades are only noticable in certain tasks(e.g. video editing, running LLM). You would know by heart if you need those upgrades.

I agree with you and really want a base M4 Air with 16/512GB config for around 1299 MSRP or around 1149 on sale.

Yes. It is still active. The delivery is farther out in late Jan, but other than that, the deal is legit.

bought this last night through Best Buy and did a price match no problem. I pick it up today and after getting home and setting it up, I receive an email saying they won't honor the price match. I'm now undoing the data transfer and repackaging it. I think Best Buy just lost my future business.

How can they take back the price match after it's already been done? Refund and recharge you? I would promptly file an unauthorized charge with my bank/cc and have a free MacBook lol.
