The Lasko blower fan in my opinion is better because it has 3 speeds and the direction is adjustable vertically.

This seems to be a good price but for about $25 more there are a couple on Amazon I'm considering that add a third speed setting, an extra angle setting (20 degrees), the ability to daisy chain them, and a timer feature, but if those don't matter to you this is a nice price along with a longer than average cord.

This design for a fan is good. I don't know about the quality but all that matters is the electric motor and if you can run it for hours.

I have 4 of these for my shop. Which were $500 each when I bought them.

Lasko is like 300 CFM though?
This one is 1/4 HP and Lasko is 1/2 HP so Lasko should be twice as much CFM.

1 HP is about 750 watts so 6ish amps at 120v

This is less than 200w then. Idk if that's fine or bad with these. If I'm using a "heavy duty" blower I'd have assumed it was at least 500w. Maybe 200w is fine in this application though.

Edit: I just did a comparison with my fan at home that I use all the time. That's a 12" lasso that does 300CFM at 100w and this thing claims 1000CFM at ~200 watts. So this should be useful for serious tasks.

The power rating is 392 watts (3.57amps at 120v). It says right on the picture.

You're right, I stand corrected.

The Lasko I have consumes about 200 W I even tested it with Kill-a-watt but this Hyper Tough is rated for 392 W. Something is not adding up.

so this hypertough one would be better in terms of CFM then the lasko from costco?

I'm not sure but the costco one is real powerful Lasko's build quality seems much better. I have another version from samsclub (below) bought about 10 years ago and the costco version blows more air.
