Old steel top craftsman table saws that don't work or buy one that works and sell the motor. I usually get them for around $50 and the parts are worth more than that on eBay or marketplace = free portable welding station lol

It looks extremely similar.
Differences I could find:

VEVOR does not have the eccentric foot (not the end of the world and can easily be remedied with a 3D printer).
2mm seems to be the "same" as 14GA for the table top (Within 0.016"s of each other).
VEVOR claims 400lbs weight rating vs 350lbs for stronghand (nothing based on the specs makes me think there would be a real world difference. If the weight difference is true as stated below, I would be inclined not to believe VEVOR).
VEVOR claims it's 1" taller then immediatetly contradicts itself (I think they are the same).
VEVOR is using wingnuts for all adjustments vs stronghand using "levernuts" and handles (The stronghand version looks much more user friendly because of this).
VEVOR claims their product weights 39.2lbs vs stronghand at 44lbs (This could be a big deal if true. Because they look so similar, this either means one of them is wrong or VEVOR probably cheaped out on the metal legs and other parts. Most of these knock offs do this where they drop all the stamped metal parts by one or two thickness sizes to make it cheaper, so without evidence on the contrary, I think this might be it).

HF has a competitive similar size welding table just lacking a few of the features like castors and adjustments.
Catch it on sale or with coupon

If I didn't need clamps or anything the Vevor is a decent deal. But with the sale on strong hand I can also buy quality clamps. It made sense to me to buy it all from Strong Hand.

The Vevor says it's made out of "corrosion-proof carbon steel". That's pretty funny. Both brands do appear to use a zinc coating for corrosion resistance, but that will come off the first time you use a grinder on the surface. The folding feature is a great way to save space in your garage.

I'm not entirely sure what a welding table is. Can this be used for miscellaneous purposes, like for a benchtop drill press? Or is this just a specific thing that I don't need since I don't weld anything?

A welding table is pretty much just a metal table that will allow for a grounding clamp so someone can weld on it. This table and many others have holes so clamps can be used through the table top.

Since the table has the ability to tilt to allow for welding in different positions. I wouldn't put a drill press on it I don't think it would be sturdy enough. Hope this helps.

We ran out of L brackets. I'll have to make some more out of these brackets that look like 7's. Hand me my blowtorch.
