We always called these single stage ones snow throwers, not snow blowers.

If used with realistic expectations this thing is a little beast. You need a cold weather (stays flexible) 12 gauge extension cord to pair with it. I bought the older version of this one and its been wonderful. Sure wet snow can pack into the chute, but its easily cleared. Sure, a gas two-stage snow blower will run circles around this thing. But I can lift this one with one had to load into my Jeep, and there is no carb to clean or rebuild, no batteries to charge. It's just a stupid simple machine that i can forget about 9 months out of the year.

I agree. For 6 inches or so, with good heavy duty cord your in good shape
