Out of curiosity I searched for cotton ones, even one that says 100% cotton has the CA Prop 65 message. It says non-slip but one photo shows the bottom which doesn't look like there's any kind of grippy stuff so...

edit: A fairly expensive organic cotton one also has the message.

Sorry I realized for most it says labels and packaging slips specifically, not the product itself - which is also the case with this mat.
