Now because of the whole Red Pocket fiasco, I have moved two important lines over to InfiMobille on their 10GB annual plan for $99. One of the lines is already active for two weeks and no problems so far except initial APN setup (did not do it automatically so I followed online instructions for VZN-based service when I actually had a TMO-based SIM from them).
I have had limited interactions with InfiMobile customer service, which I guess is positive as it means things have worked okay. But when I did chat with them about the APN mixup I just mentioned, it was fine.
Anyway, point is that InfiMobile has worked fine for me, so much so that I have just moved over two important lines from Red Pocket because of the fiasco there. Not saying that my experience will be what everybody has (for example, it did not work well for you). But it seems to be working out well for many folks.

Anyone use hotspot? Add it after activation? 100% of high speed plan?
What I've found is most of the time if you order a physical sim from their website, you'll get a Verizon physical sim. If you activate via the website on eSim you'll most likely get T-Mobile. You can switch between the two for a one time fee of $5.
Again I'm not saying they're visible... but for what it is and the price they aren't bad. If you port your number over and aren't constantly changing things or dinking around with stuff it just seems to work. The more involved you get the less happy you'll be.
I also generally have switched phone providers every 6 months for the past 5-7 years so I think I know how to port a number and also how different each provider is in terms of their class of service and customer facing issues.
Infimobile was crap for me. They didn't offer me the option of T-Mobile vs. Verizon SIM when I ordered for them and when I brought up any issue to them I never got replies, or at least not any that were helpful. This is after months of repeatedly communicating with them and then simply not responding after they told me it was "escalated."
ETA:
Hotspot Only for $5.00
Add this feature to your plan and share your data connection with other devices. (To be renewed monthly).

I talked to them in "real time" on many, many occasions via their chat.
They "escalated" my cases and said I would be contacted, but never contacted me.
If I would contact them via the chat again it was the same routine.
Not once in all my issue with my dropped calls did they ever suggest that I switch to T-Mobile network. It wasn't until after about 3-4 months with them that I even knew they had the option since again, they didn't offer the alternative when ordering and they never brought it up.
By that point, they had not gotten back to me for about 2 months already, so I was just going to ride out their craptastic service and switch away, which I have done.

I'm not an idiot when it comes to vetting phone service, nor am I here to blast them for no reason for things that are out of their control (i.e. they didn't have TMO service at the time). I know what I am talking about and what the situation was. Maybe some people had a good experience, but I am sharing mine, which was not. Over the past 6 months while I have shared my experiences I have had many people also express how much of a PIA their service also was. I would say I have had about 35-45% of people say "no issue here", but at least half of those also claim the service was "for their parents" or "their girlfriend", etc, and therefore I take those with a grain of salt as they aren't first hand.
Anyway, do what you want, and if you decide to go for a company with such a low satisfaction rate I hope you get lucky and don't have issue. I suspect if you live in an area where the service has 0 issue, or maybe stay away from their Verizon, and have no need to actually get anything resolved should it go wrong, you may not have the worst experience. The good news is they are dirt cheap, so if and when you decide you made a mistake, you won't be out more than $100 or so.
