Got one for my daughter from Costco for the same price about a month ago. What would you like to know?

Will this laptop be able to handle adobe premiere & after effects? Not really sure what specs are needed for someone who uses a laptop for that. Thanks to anyone who can advise.

Have a similar HP envy that the hinges popped on. Are these any better?

Bought my wife a yoga 5 like 5 years ago. Only took 3 years or so before the hinge broke. Good laptop otherwise. The yogas are notorious for hinge issues.

I have experience with the last gen of this laptop with an intel processor instead. But build quality felt great, display was alright even though with 45% NTSC color gamut, speakers were okay as well. Keyboard was solid. Hinges felt good.
The AMD processor in this one is pretty power efficient so you should be able to get good battery life. And the integrated graphics are enough for light gaming. Overall good spec'd laptop for everyday use with light gaming.

As someone who owns and operates a local repair shop, i would say almost ALL thin and light laptops have hinge issues. Dell, Lenovo, HP, you name it.

It depends on what you are trying to do. For dedicated video editing with adobe premiere/after effects, you'll probably want more ram, 32gb. I think adobe actually recommends 32gb with a dedicated gpu. Maybe this video could be of help, https://youtu.be/oOBS3InsOQ0?si=Y219TCV6__2ozokv

Think you first need to decide what size laptop you want. It's like asking someone to tell you if you should get an SUV or a compact car.

I have bought several Lenovo laptops over the years and find them to be an outstanding value and well built. I still have all of them, and the only issue I have had is a broken key on one of the keyboards.
