This is a very good deal but at the end of the day if I spend $600 on a monitor I don't need then I lost. What to do

Jumped on this. I haven't been following for so long but OLED and under $600 is a steal. Thanks.

Even the non OLED model is worth this price.

You need to login to your EDU account to see the 576 price. If you don't have an EDU account, you're not going to be able to get that price

Honestly not 100% sure. How it happened for me is I got a discount code on the PC for $50 from a rep, I put it in the cart with that coupon entered in to bring it to that 526 price.

I then logged into my samsung app, and it showed up with that discount and the same price.
Then I walked away for like 5 or so min, came back and the cart was auto updated to that 498 price in the samsung app.

This is on the gov discount. So yeah not exactly sure, but it auto updated the price for me on the discount.

Deff a ymmv but somebody else said they got it for the same price as me earlier I believe.
I did it this way. Has to be your first purchase on the account for Samsung on the app.

How do you get the Samsung app cart to reflect the epp price? The product page reflects it but not the cart

Bought with the extra 50 off. I read its glossy screen and I'm ok with that. 144 vs 240 I'm good with 144. 3 year warranty + 1 extra year for chase CC.

Steps to reproduce $498

Talk to the rep and they will provide link with promo code.
Download the app( has to be first time)
Login to the app
Add the monitor to the cart- it should automatically bring the total to $526
Copy the promo code(don't type it) - i just sent it to myself on iMessage and copied it- just easier.
Paste the code to promo code field

There was an issue where after I typed the code in- it was only taking the $50 from promo code not from first time app order. I removed the product from the cart and tried again to copy and pasted code and it worked.

Hope this helps!

They didn't ask you? It forces you to sign into your ID.me account, which requires verification, before purchase. How'd you bypass?
I've done it several years ago, I don't think they were asking to verify back then, but must have added it later.

Text clarity can be an issue for some with these - i've not really confirmed it's a problem with these newer models, but if they haven't changed the subpixel layout, then it will be the exact same.
I just got a 34-inch Alienware from another current deal, today, and this is my first OLED monitor. I was worried about text clarity because I read a lot of text for work, but when I started using it, I haven't noticed any difference from my previous 27-inch 1440p Dell. Either people sit too closely to their screens, or maybe they fixed it, or maybe it's my eyes, but I found the text clarity to be perfectly fine on mine.

Interesting - I got a $50 promo code from a rep. But, when applying it, the Workplace Savings amount changes from $423.10 to $401.94. So, the total comes down to $548.05, rather than $526. Weird.

Which 57 was this?
The 57" neo that was posted a few days ago was a price mistake, but it was honored.

Did you just straight-up ask for the $50 promotional credit?
Sign out of all accounts on the web. Go to link via web first there's a 50$ coupon add to cart then sign into your edu etc email. Go to shop app then see if you get $50 off and then contact support saying this code expired can you help with a replacement 5IXH5HAP84. Bang!

Just ordered with $50 off code from a rep. Unfortunately, applying the code led to a lower Workplace Savings amount and final amount came to $549. But, if I decide not to keep, Im confident I can sell it for a few hundred off MSRP and recoup somemoney and then some.

In-app chat rep indicated that the $50 first purhase promo applies only to items costing more than $1000. Pretty sure thats not the case because when I ordered a soundbar recently for $600+ in the app, the $50 promo applied automatically.

Try logging out of the app, then log back in, add the item to the cart at regular price, then click to checkout and see if there's a $50 off first app promotion there.
