This is a very good deal but at the end of the day if I spend $600 on a monitor I don't need then I lost. What to do

Jumped on this. I haven't been following for so long but OLED and under $600 is a steal. Thanks.

Even the non OLED model is worth this price.

You need to login to your EDU account to see the 576 price. If you don't have an EDU account, you're not going to be able to get that price

how do you get Samsung app 1st purchase discount? do I have to uninstall/reinstall app and use diff account? i have a Samsung phone so didn't want to do that (tried switching accounts on same app but that didn't work for discount). maybe ill try on a diff android next time.
This was in fact my first Samsung app purchase. I used an account that I've had for awhile. I've purchased via the EPP page before but never the Samsung app. I got the link from Samsung chat rep which gave me the $50 off discount code. Then just added the monitor to my app cart, applied the chat discount code. The first time app purchase discount applied on its own.

Got mine today and it's ginormous. One thing that is really annoying me though is the border. Is this supposed to be normal to have a black spaced border between the frame and the edge of what is displayed?

My prior monitor went edge to edge of the bezel/frame, but I haven't been able to find any setting(s) to get this monitor to go edge to edge. I've tried different display ports on my GPU (AMD 6700xt), using HDMI, and looking through the software settings (AMD Adrenaline) but haven't found anything.

I am not complaining Samsung, I am complaining UPS. Actually Samsung did a good job, shipped out on the same day.
Oh, I know, but I am. They sat on my order for days in all three instances.

I think it is normal. My current Dell 34's have a small gap between the inside edge of the bezel and where the picture being displayed starts. Its very very annoying because you see a thin bezel but its fake, because the manfacturer just uses a thin plastic surround that doesnt cover the part of the display that just doesnt show anything.

The plastic strip on the bottom of the screen is driving my OCD nuts! I don't think it's easily removable either. Manual says not to remove it.

Just finished setting it up and the bezels are the same as my outgoing dual Lenovo 27" monitors.

Love the pip mode where you can split the monitor in 2 by input to mimic dual monitor setup.

Had to try AC Odyssey on it and it looks glorious. Have to do some tweaking and testing tonight. Basically get everything ready for work on Monday as well.

Anybody else tried the price match with a refund of the difference? I posted this a while back and regret this method.

Ordered with a chat rep who said they would initiate a refund of the difference after I made an order and have been chasing them for a refund ever since. Kicker is that each rep I talk to seems to not know anything about this agreement even with all the screenshots. Guess I'm learning to never ever do this type of side deal again...

I am surprised by the size of the bezels - would have expected them to be much smaller. And that strip in the bottom is irritating too. But this display is just beautiful. I lost myself just trying out some games last night. Just so engrossing to play.

I tried as well and am getting significant pushback. They're telling me their back office team are declining the price match request. Anyone have success with getting a partial refund after their monitor shipped?

The USB-C cannot be used as monitor output and charging the laptop.
