No. Eneloop in the US is only from Japan.

This 10 pack AAA eneloop seems to be a new SKU and all of the reviews written this year seem to confirm they're still made in Japan so I'm going to take a gamble.

Edit: Received mine and they're indeed made in Japan.

Ikea comes out to $1.87 each vs. $1.94 on this deal (or less with S&S). But Ikea's is only 750mah vs. this at 850mah.

Which is great, if you're near one of these so-called "IKEAS".

I looked them up, and the nearest one is over 3.5 hours away. I'm not traveling SEVEN HOURS + fuel + dealing with nonsense in-store just to save seven cents per battery.
Your situation is irrelevant though. I couldn't care less about people who live far from IKEA

But great for us that live 10 minutes from one. Microcenter is 5 minutes.
It's not about the drive for me but the several hours I'll end up spending in either! Even worse, MicroCenter is on the way to Mall of America Ikea so I may as well hit them both up. 🙂

Why would they lower the price if the volumes go up?

Make less money???
Huge increases in demand always reduces prices right?

Yes, the chargers work for both AA and AAA

I stopped using the white eneloop chargers and now use the black ones. For whatever reason my four white ones get hot (came bundled with the batteries). The black ones stay cool to the touch. I'd have to pull up the order history for the p/n's, but basic 4-battery charger units.
I think there are at least two versions of the white ones. Oldest ones charged in pairs and newer ones were individual bank. My older pair ones got pretty warm. I use a 3rd party that does Li-Ion and such these days but sometimes if very low charge the Eneloop will detect them better without shorting posts.

I'm showing $18.40 with Sub 'n Save. Also, those Laddas, went to an IKEA for the first time in my life and picked up an 8 pack. As I recall, the AA's are the same price as the AAA's at IKEA. On Amazon, the AA's are typically more expensive. So, this is a great deal (esp with S&S) for genuine Panasonic Eneloops from Amazon in AAA. If you're looking for AA's, though, IKEA Laddas are hard to beat.

Also, aren't the Laddas equivalent to the Panasonic Eneloop Pros (the ones with the black label)?
Ikea sells both the regular Eneloop and Eneloop Pro rewrapped as Laddas. They're listed as different MAH and are a different shade of grey.

Yes, I decided to pull the trigger. It is a good price for a great product.

Long answer:
Most seem to believe it is a higher grade model since it is made in Japan. Apparently the packaging relates to being a newer gen as it has a 50 mAH bump too, to 850mAH. On top of that, it is slightly cheaper than normal price per battery. I'm not going to get into politicks, inflation or the shipping issues that have plagued us. I will just acknowledge that the price the last 5 years per battery is on average higher than what it currently is here. IMO, it is just as much of a gamble that these will be cheaper that you are also gambling that they won't be higher when you need them, over the next three years. More than likely they will cost more when you need them and batteries CAN classify as a need item depending on the use.

Also, as some have stated throughout these 9 pages, the AA 10 pack has been listed with a higher mAH bump as well. Looking over the history of the 12 pack of AA, it would seem that the 10 pack at $25.63 is a good price as well on those.

Since the AA is getting lost in this thread of IKEA distances; I went ahead and posted a separate thread about it. Perhaps it is the 5th gen but even if not, it's still a good price.

Amazon historically mixes OEM product with second tier vendors' products. This leads to fake batteries and other items being received for many years while paying for the real thing. An Internet search for "fake Eneloop" will bring up many instances of supposed fakes.

Edit: Sorry all. The price should have been $19.30. Apparently when I was typing the "1" didn't register and I failed to proof read carefully.

Maybe I'm missing something but I bought these December 20th. I just looked them up. Sold and shipped by Amazon $9.30.

Does those rechargeable batteries work longer than the Duracell and Energizer for the use of such as the home weather station, digital alarm clock etc?
Probably not, because the Eneloops start at a lower voltage when fully charged than Alkalines (in my experience 1.5x and declining with age vs 1.6x volts). This may not be a big disadvantage depending on how tolerant your device is to low voltage power source. On the other hand Eneloops have never leaked on me, unlike even brand name Alkalines.

I can use these on blink cameras? I thought those needed lithium batteries?
You could still use these on blink camera, but the app will always show the red low battery icon, even your battery is fully charged. So, the camera will run out of battery eventually without "further" warning. So, I'll only recommend you are using these batteries for your blink camera at a non critical location.

Maybe you could look into moving closer to an ikea so that you can take advantage of these deals in the future.
