Just a friendly PSA, as a fellow pet owner/lover: Minoxidil is incredibly toxic to cats and dogs.

Bought the foam last time.
Foam stops coming out when bottle is still full. I wouldn't recommend it.

Costco members can get the liquid at a similar price without the expiration date being so soon.
$14 for 6 bottles with $6 for shipping.

I had a bald spot so I did 2 things:
- changed to a less stressful job
- bought the costco branded drop
A few months later, I got all my hairs back after using 1 or 2 bottles. I guess it works but depends. Stress is a silent killer.

TL;DR: Don't allow infants and small children come into contact with this and other medications. Contact with minoxidil may cause "Werewolf Syndrome", or excessive body hair growth due to vulnerable and underdeveloped skin in infants. The excessive hair growth is temporary and will subside if the child is no longer exposed to minoxidil.

- Expiration on any chemical is a not an exact science. If you keep it in a cool place, i wouldn't worry about efficacy decline too much.

- Costco have sale on these at least once a year. Even though Costco isn't worth for me I still do the "new member" promotion even 2-3 years and buy enough to last.

I have always been concerned about unwanted side effects from this hair loss chemical, who knows what it can do after 5-10 years use!

Well the chemical itself was isolated around 60 years ago and has been actively marketed and used for hair growth for ~ 35 years, so any serious long term side effects should be widely reported by now. Not saying there aren't any, but if they were severe, some 35 years in we'd have a good idea.

My wife said she'll love me no matter how much hair is on my head.

I'm no hoity toity organic maniac, but the thought of daily medicine for the rest of my life isn't worth it.

I'll just keep my comb over growing and growing and growing.

If you're a woman, also take iron supplements.

As a combover guy, I concur. As much as I would like to fill in the corners (widows peak), I prefer not to put chemicals on my head.
