My past experience of google discount code (toward the purchase of new products) does not stack with sale price.
Doesn't seem to work for Pixel 4a 5G. I just tried now thinking they were the same, but I recall not - Google had released a 4a and a 4a 5G separately.

It gives a message, "The IMEI you entered is not for a Pixel 4a device."
Google: we admit that your 4 year old had battery problems, we will give you $50. Just send us the imei...... yes just turn on the old phone who died 2 years ago and cant be turn on

I got my 4a from the vertex wireless SD where you got the phone and mint service for $199. It was bonkers cheap.

Im going to ask the obvious question; if we traded in the phone already, but have the box and the IMEI still, think we can still get the money?

What about the Pixel 5? That thing overheats if you look at it.

There are two IMEI's on the 4a. Have you checked both?

Same problem here! I have an old Pixel 4a 5g that has this exact same battery problem / randomly turns off and it says the Google repair page says it is not a Pixel 4a device.

Just replaced my grandma's 4a with a 9 for $299 via mint mobile. The 4a no longer receives security updates.

It might also be found on the SIM card tray.

Pro tip: take a picture with another phone and enlarge it because those numbers are tiny!

I opted for the $100 store credit for our 2 phones. It states 3 weeks to verify/process. I'm hoping they stack, but we will see. One of our just started to have the battery swell.
