1 extra ram slot and an m.2 slot, per q&a section.

slightly slower processor than a 7530u, they're very close though. Seems like a good price

7430U is a rare(?) Barcelo-R (Cezanne Refresh Refresh, 6-core Zen 3 + Vega 7) APU with the same clocks as the 7330U (2.3 GHz base, 4.3 GHz turbo). It's basically a 5600U/5625U that launched years ago.

Is the other laptop that recently expired better? only 15" screen but has touchscreen, 10core?

Pretty similar, but my understanding is that one is better at multi threaded performance than the other. I don't remember which is which, but I'm pretty sure AMD integrated graphics are superior to Intel integrated graphics. I'm not that familiar with it. But for general use I think they'd be pretty similar

I bought this in December. It has two memory slots, one of them pre-populated with an 8GB DIMM. I added another 8GB DIMM to get to 16GB, no issues, so I think you'll be fine with a 2x16 kit.

I got the Lenovo. The i5-1235u is faster at single thread processing. This Ryzen better at multi threads. Overall this Ryzen is probably a tiny bit faster. I prefer the smaller screen since they both have the same resolution. But if you want a big screen, this is a good deal.

I Agree. I wouldn't buy a laptop without a backlit keyboard. Bestbuy's deal of the day on laptops never seems to have a backlit keyboard?

What 8gb mod did you use?

Will it work in dual channel if I added an 16gb to the 8gb?
So the included 8gb isn't soldered and can be removed?
