About this Item:
- Wyze Robot Vacuum uses an invisible spinning laser (LIDAR) to build an exact map of your home. You can see, edit, and save the map in the Wyze app.
- Using the map built by the LIDAR sensor, the Wyze Robot Vacuum divides each room into sections and cleans in the most efficient path possible.
- Specialized sensor groups help the vacuum move around obstacles and detect stairs and walls.
- The edge-brush sweeps debris towards the center of the vacuum. A high-torque center brush works in tandem with 2100 Pa of suction power to pull up every bit of dust and dirt off your floor.
- Don't want to move a finger? Just say "Hey Alexa, tell Wyze Robot Vacuum to clean the kitchen."
- Wyze Robot Vacuum drives itself back to the charging station after it's finished cleaning. If battery runs low during a longer cleaning, it returns right back to where it left off after auto-recharging.
- Average Battery Time (110 Minutes Standard Mode)

Long story short, the battery for each unit has degraded considerably. Both vacuums started dying in the middle of cleaning. I have now divided the floor plan into small rooms and I clean each of these "rooms" daily but with an interval for it to fully charge in between. So it will start cleaning at 12 am, then 2.30 am then 5 am and as such. I think I have about 4 of these rooms created.
The second vacuum has degraded quite a bit, to where it cannot even cover 1 large room without breaking it into multiple room parts.
The software, mapping, indicators, notifications are all good... So no complaints there. It's a great vacuum for the price except for the battery and the fact that the software cannot handle a low capacity battery very well..

Company is awful at support and can't even get their firmware/software right.

Mine also says the same. I find it odd but definitely not a deal breaker

It took me a while to realize that the battery (and mainly the software) was the issue. I think the battery does not report the capacity correctly or it just drops to zero charge without warning.
I got on the Robo rock deal during Thanksgiving but it's still unopened.

I've bought Wyze stuff since their beginnings and used to find their price/value was great but their offerings haven't kept up with competition

I'd recommend roborock to anyone based on my 2 month experience with it. Some pro's.
Hope this helps.

Have you tried/found a replacement battery that lasts longer?
