Completely different shoes that you can't even compare them in terms of which one is better. The Adios Pro 3 have been some of the best shoes out there for marathon, half marathon and even shorter distance racing. They're horrible for walking or even slow jogging.

The Ultraboosts are comfylifestyle shoes that could be used for running, but there are much better things out there.

I would agree with you about all the other UB generations, but the 5X isn't the same stuff. I think it's ub light, not regular ub. Total shoe weight (9.7oz) is lighter than that of my Saucony Ride 17s (9.9oz).

For $55 (price in the outlet) they're an amazing value. Great for daily running or walking. They're not the softest though. I personally like them especially for the price.

Of course, the AP3 upper causes issues for some people, especially those eyelets. But there are workarounds and no shoe is perfect. It's also one of the best reviewed super shoes out there. There's a reason that it won so many podiums and tons serious runners use them.

Rarely you'd see someone race a marathon with Ultraboost 5. I have one and I love it for walking or running when I travel, but I wouldn't run a long distances with it. Go ask in any running community and people will tell you that.

Again, buy what you want and be comfortable, that's what matters.

I bit! Pays to have small feet sometimes. Raced in my endorphin pro 2 for the first time Saturday(picked those up for $45 during that insane Saucony clear out a year or so ago). Now I'll have a super shoe rotation.

This is a racing shoes. You wear this to run fast. It's light with a carbon plate in the midsole. You can't compare Ultraboost to this. No real runner even runs in Ultraboost. That is just gym shoes.
