I purchased 2 when they were $99, and although locked for 1 year they've been working flawlessly for several months now on Tello using MKSD Ultra V5.6

For those having trouble porting in from TracFone, Straight Talk, or Total Wireless, here are the steps you need to take at the porting part. This is based on my experience. I have successfully completed port-ins from these sites after working out this guide. The guide below is taken from Total Wireless port into Metro. It should be the same for Straight Talk and other TracFone subsidiaries including TracFone.

Port Info Needed:
Most can be found here
https://www.totalwireless.com .. my-account.. manage-lines
Line: Phone number
Account: Phone IMEI (Text Four to 611611 to confirm)
Zip code: Your zip code
PIN: Text NTP to 611611 to generate your PIN.

----------------------
At the Porting part.
1. Enter the port info.
2. Metro contacts Total Wireless. (See picture 1)
3. Metro throws an error even if you entered everything correctly. (See picture 2)
4. The error is because Total Wireless is contacting the line owner to warn them about the port. (See picture 3)
5. Click on Correct errors.
6. Re-enter everything again and make sure everything is correct.
7. Metro throws another error. The same one as seen in Picture 2.
8. This is a bug on Metro site.
9. Click on the X at the top right to close that error message.
10. Metro proceeds to completing the order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you clicked on submitting the order to Metro, your Total/ST/Tracfone line is immediately inactivated on their respective site, not allowing you to port that line any further even if Metro denied your order asking you to contact them or go to their store for completing the order. In order words, you cannot reverse the porting at Total/ST/Tracfone. I spent 2 hours with Total and it was going nowhere.

Apple iPhone 13 128GB Midnight on Metro by T-Mobile website.
Online deal only.
Price has been reduced to $50.
Phone takes one year to get unlocked after initial activation date.

Requires Metro Flex Plus plan at $75 for first month of service.
MUST port-in from AT&T or Verizon based number.
T-Mobile based numbers and VOIP numbers do not qualify for lowest price.

Well I guess I'll call Metro and ask if I can get half off my second line. I just got email both iPhones have shipped I ordered this morning
You ordered them on separate accounts? They're not going to do anything for you.

Does any one know which one would work better with iphone 13 and iphone 14? MKSD Ultra V5.6 or v5.7
You can't use MKSD with iphone 14 since it doesn't have a physical sim

Nope -- Metro does eSIM

Finish online activation using order status page (which will complete the number port) -- then turn on phone and go through initial setup and it'll download the eSIM automatically

Just activated Iphone 13. Can I transfer Esim to other iPhone? Hate to waste $75 plan for a month :-)

You can enter your Google voice and Metro site will say it's eligible to port in. But when you add the iPhone to the cart, it only discount to $479.99, not $49.99. You need an AT&T or Verizon number to get the phone for $49.99. Get a Visible number (Verizon networt) with a referral for $5 to port in.

Install Metro app on iP13 and connect using data (app will later ask you to switch to wifi) -- you can swap device to another phone by giving new phone IMEI (new phone's Settings then Cellular page should show new eSIM available after a minute)

I've done that too (so that I can use my own phone to get the verification code). One also has to do that if they want to use the new phone on a different Metro account.

The only thing I'm not sure is if the new phone will still unlock eventually.
