I purchased 2 when they were $99, and although locked for 1 year they've been working flawlessly for several months now on Tello using MKSD Ultra V5.6

For those having trouble porting in from TracFone, Straight Talk, or Total Wireless, here are the steps you need to take at the porting part. This is based on my experience. I have successfully completed port-ins from these sites after working out this guide. The guide below is taken from Total Wireless port into Metro. It should be the same for Straight Talk and other TracFone subsidiaries including TracFone.

Port Info Needed:
Most can be found here
https://www.totalwireless.com .. my-account.. manage-lines
Line: Phone number
Account: Phone IMEI (Text Four to 611611 to confirm)
Zip code: Your zip code
PIN: Text NTP to 611611 to generate your PIN.

----------------------
At the Porting part.
1. Enter the port info.
2. Metro contacts Total Wireless. (See picture 1)
3. Metro throws an error even if you entered everything correctly. (See picture 2)
4. The error is because Total Wireless is contacting the line owner to warn them about the port. (See picture 3)
5. Click on Correct errors.
6. Re-enter everything again and make sure everything is correct.
7. Metro throws another error. The same one as seen in Picture 2.
8. This is a bug on Metro site.
9. Click on the X at the top right to close that error message.
10. Metro proceeds to completing the order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you clicked on submitting the order to Metro, your Total/ST/Tracfone line is immediately inactivated on their respective site, not allowing you to port that line any further even if Metro denied your order asking you to contact them or go to their store for completing the order. In order words, you cannot reverse the porting at Total/ST/Tracfone. I spent 2 hours with Total and it was going nowhere.

Is there anyone also port straight talk number to metro pcs? Metro pcs kept saying my straight talk port information is inaccurate, but I checked with straight talk, the port information is correct.
I wrote a step-by-step guide on how to get past the porting stage at Metro when porting from Straight Talk/Total Wireless/TracFone.

Here is the link.

Go to -> my account -> manage lines

Make sure the line is not marked "inactivated". If it is, the line cannot be ported anymore. Talk/Text/Data still work. Contact Straight Talk to confirm.

Has anyone opened two Metro accounts like I did? After trying to add a second line to both accounts unsuccessfully, one of my accounts on website now says it's ineligible to add any extra lines. Wonder if anyone else has had this happen. Metro website says to call the phone number to ask what the reason is for being limited to one line but of course the phone reps could not provide an answer
If there is no "add a line" option in your account, that means there is either a port hold or order hold on your account. Port hold you simply call porting and get it removed. Order hold requires creating a ticket and waiting 24-72 hours once it's complete.

Same issue, two accounts now none eligible to add a line. After spending multiple hours now I have made peace with it and let it go.

I tried to add a 3rd line to my account, but it kept failing on the last page due to 'security reasons.' Has anyone had success ordering in-store instead?

Try my post above. It requires their "special system" to see an order hold and requires a ticket to unlock

Don't bother. In store won't give the deal and has a tons of extra fees. I've tried five stores, no luck

I just checked. My line disappeared, but Metro didn't let me complete the order. So is my line disappeared? How to do?

Update: While it shows inactive in straight talk website, but I tried to order in MeroPCS again, it works this time and I completed the order.

I'm glad it worked out well for you. And it's good to know the number is still be able to port even if it's marked inactive. I will update my personal note. My guess is that as long as you didn't submit the order, the number still available.

I like IP 13 since it still have physical SIM slot that I can unlock with RSIM or MKSD, and much easy to switch SIM when travel, physical SIM always cost less than eSIM. If I need to upgrade, I will buy it from Canada instead, since they still sell IP with physical SIM slot.
Do you know if I can take this iPhone 14 from this Metro deal up to Canada and trade it at iPhone store up there for a newer iPhone with SIM tray?

Thanks I might be better trading it at Canada Apple Store instead of USA Apple store then. My family uses EastLink mobile carrier in canada. Do you happen to know if they accept locked phones from USA for trade?

Yaa me too I'm just so exhausted too not sure what the issues is now I have these 2 visible numbers which are useless and hours of running round
Finally was able to place an order with help of useful rep ...to my surprise my visible port out pin was getting flagged as incorrect and had to generate a new one while the rep was trying to place it on my behalf and then it worked. Just wanted to share if anyone else is facing similar issues
