Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

man they have one hiding in the back covered in snow... 7 in crates but bought by folks online and they are waiting to be picked up. I finally realized not having a shed or a garage and already keeping my ego walk behind inside my house a zero turn would just have to sit outside, maybe under a tarp, but vulnerable to theft. I guess I'll pass even though I own a bunch of ego stuff I need a shed to keep the stuff I already have! Bummer with a big ole yard.
after I wrote this I decided under the deck with a tarp is good enough until I put up a shed. They told me some of the crated ones were 4 years old and the one i got that was put together was one of the newer ones. true or not I am so tired of taking at least two hours to mow with my walk behind since my cub cadet was stolen from a different address.

I went to Garland, TX Lowes.
They didn't have any in stock, but their in-store price was $1999.
They told me that the Rockwall, TX store had four in stock.
We drove to the Rockwall store. They said that they do have four in stock,
but they can't find the batteries for them... so they aren't allowed to sell them.

bummer
I'd have offered to put 500 down until they find the batteries or until they come in.

or maybe ask them to throw in some 12ah batteries. Th,at's what they did for me without me even asking.

My Lowe's had 5 in stock at $1999. 3 that were built but had been sitting outside and 2 still in crates. Bought a crate one and will pick it up Wednesday after they assemble it. Thanks OP! The batteries alone are with this price. I wasn't in the market for a mower but at this price I'll see how it compares to my 20 year old gas 48" husky
Batteries alone are worth the price???? I'm showing the batteries are available online for $169.99 each.... What am I missing.

I bought one, but when they went to get it (Rockwall, TX 75087) they couldn't find the batteries. They showed x3 in stock. So they cancelled my order.

The only 10Ah ones I see for that price are knock-offs...not EGO brand

Most likely not a genuine one, Amazon selling them for $430, Lowes itself over $500.

Probably, those are old units.

Best way is to order one from store, delivery and assembly should be free.

I did order from store. At that time they said they have the machine assembled and but need to look for battery and charger. They found the charger but no battery.

I ordered one to be delivered. Will it be coming from a nearby store? There were no stores in my area that had one in stock.
