Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

I think you are missing the point I am attempting to make. Filing with BBB and FTC and all of that stuff might get them to cave and "officially" preemptively give you a warranty because of negative PR and their time better being spent elsewhere. But these avenues are not the same as your original statement which was a purely legal argument and that you were going to get a massive class action or whatever and then sue them in small claims court.

Just because a party breaches a contract doesn't magically entitle the other side to something. You have to prove damages. If your mower breaks under the warranty period, the damages are easy enough. But until your mower breaks, you really wouldn't have a claim to pursue IMO. Not sure how you would actually get a class action without a bunch of mowers breaking.
There are people on this threat had their claims for battery warranty denied for a bogus reason such a purchase price, it's enough. One claim is enough to start a class actions, because it's not a first time they are doing it, I googled it.
This is from google
According to user reports and discussions online, common issues with EGO warranty claims include: difficulty reaching customer service, long wait times for replacements, claims being denied for seemingly minor reasons, and challenges proving a product defect is covered under the warranty, with some users feeling that EGO does not readily honor their warranty promises, particularly when it comes to battery replacements

Lowe's just called and said they can't find the 10ah batteries and offered to fulfill the order with four new 7.5ah instead. Still worth it? I'm looking to mow around 1 relatively flat acre.
The z6 manual states minimum of 15ah to power the mower on. Multiple reviewers said they had higher failure rates for the ego 7.5ah battery vs other capacities. It took longer for ego to ship the 7.5ah replacement vs 10ah, etc.

Just an FYI to people looking for this. Don't go by brickseek. Drive to the store and ask them to check the back. I went to two stores who both had them in Southern Massachusetts. One of them didn't have the batteries but the other one did.

So what's the general consensus for everyone that bought one in the midwest.
Obviously because it's winter, you can't try it out. Keep it, save it for spring. cancel or return?

I bought with free delivery, and then after scheduling delivery for next week I used the link to push that deliver out to mid February.

I'll figure out the status of everything then and let this get sorted out.

How would this help much? You're just adding more time for it to sit around the store and get damaged. That what's the main complaint of all this. Is the 5 yr warranty really a deal breaker for this 2k mower? U still get a 30 day return. And buy the 3yr lowes warranty for $200.

It's 0 degrees here. Everything is ice and snow. If you want to test steering, you can't. Also gives time to get more context from this thread with resolutions to any issues, etc.

Hey Creepster, you sure do ask a lot of questions. I'm on the fence as to whether I want to keep it. It weighs over 400 lbs. it's not like I can pop i in my back seat and return it to Lowes.

did you buy one?
