I mean, just register them. Covered until Jan 2030. I'm not worried at all.
Batteries have a 3 year warranty, not 5 like the mower itself

I posted that i chatted with them twice, and read the fine print to verify. U all have selective doomsday hearing. Do you own research.
I don't see a post you made regarding Lowe's protection plans and batteries in specific…

Registering the 10 Ah batteries gives 5 years according to their warranty page: https://egopowerplus.com/warranty-policy

My experience today: I ordered one for pickup, and my experience was not that good. As per the manager, the mower was sitting outside for four years. He told me that it was new, but the weather did the part that damaged the color. I checked the item's serial numbers; 3 gave me 2 bars, and one battery just blinked rapidly red. I told the manager I would test the battery, but I may need to return the mower because of the condition and the bad battery. He told me they usually allow 48 hours to return it, but he would accept 30 days. Not sure if that's true. Also, the handles to move the mowers feel rusty and stiff to move. Tell you what happens tomorrow.
48 hours shouldn't apply to mowers, that's 30 days: https://www.lowes.com/l/help/retu...turnPolicy

lol, incorrect. The battery warranty is 3 years and if you register them within 90 days of buying the mower, they extend it 2 more years.

So 5.

lol people trying real hard to shit on this deal. That's usually how you know it's a solid deal LMAO

No kidding. I'm not a huge Ego fan, love my greenworks 80v, but this is a hell of a deal. Wish I could find it near me! My brother in law has had issues with their batteries annually replacing. He's not a slick dealer. I'm sure id figure out a solution to that! 😜

Congrats!...my experience with Lowes is no military discount on anything discounted.....not even an item marked down to a buck....no discount for me
Home Depot much easier to work with
Quite the opposite when purchasing online. Lowe's allows military discount on everything online, even clearance items.

Recent reviews are scary. I'd recommend only buying this if you can see it in the store. Lot of deliveries of units that were stored outside.
Two of them sitting outside of my Lowes right now. Frozen with 6" of snow on them.
Nah......

Go to your local FB marketplace and I can guarantee you'll see 5 "just listed" for $3500 each.

It's hard to beat the flippers to a good deal.

Plainville had one left with no batteries. I decided to pass and then I went to Bridgewater and they had one with batteries being delivered today.

I'm curious to see the condition of the ones they are delivering. Especially for those people who pushed out their delivery towards the end of February.
