Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

Has anyone found mowers at the 2K with no batteries and Lowes making things right by supplying replacement batteries and charger?

When those batteries die - it would cost you $1000 to replace i bet

You get a 5 yr warranty, from the date of sale not the date of manufacture. Just be sure you register the mowers within 90 days. At the end of 5 years, you can buy two more, if need be. By that time, a regular ICE Engine will need many oil changes, batteries, spark plugs, Engine oil and Air filters. Even then they may not last. Even if you had to pay another 1k for the mower to last 12-15 yrs, it would still be cheaper than most riding lawn mower maintenance costs.

Well this kind of pisses me off. Been holding out for one of these for years. I have all these alerts configured for mowers. I check Slickdeals like 10 times a day. And this appears on my page 2 days after it was originally posted and now it's sold out at all 3 locations around me? Real bummer
Where you located?

I wonder if lowes will cancel my online order. Showed in stock at the time of order and now sold out. Received email today changing delivery date. Wouldn't be their first cancelation of an online order from me if they did.

As long as it's linked to your account, it just auto applies to every order.
Except on sale items. Lowe's stopped allowing military discount on sale items years ago.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Lowes/s/pURlE8IJiE

From Lowes: "The 10% Military Discount can be used every day on most full-priced product purchases. Exclusions to the Military Discount Program include the following: (i) It cannot be used on any sale item or with any other discount (such as but not limited to Lowe's Price Promise, Lowe's Credit 5% Off Every Day discount, volume."

Does anyone have received and have their mower working....got mine today....LCD is on but can't move mower forward/backward and the blade doesn't not engage ...
If you press the button to power on the mower, the lcd will light up. However, you need to press and hold the button down a few moments for the mower to be operational.

My 2004 Snapper is still going strong. I change the oil about every 2 years at a total cost of maybe $20. Battery twice at around $40. So $280 in 20 years versus $2,000 to replace four of these batteries, that may last 10 years, probably not?

Lowe's just delivered mine. Four batteries brand new in box, charger brand new in box. Zero hours on the display. I decided to load up my snowblower 5ah batteries instead of unboxing the 10ah. Discovered that a minimum of 15ah is needed after finally seeing the sticker in the battery bay. It had me stumped for a few minutes trying to figure out why thing would power up but not move with two batteries. Drove it through the snow, around the corner and down the alley to get it into the garage for the rest of the season. Located in Indiana.

While I too feel a gas burner is more economical for now, you also have to include each gallon of fuel, the cost of the trip to the gas station to get the fuel, the cost to drive to purchase the oil, any belt replacements, spark plugs, air filters, oil filters, time spent cleaning carb because you mistakenly used ethanol, oops..., the value of your time doing the afore mentioned tasks, etc.

Normally but for some reason it didn't. But they did it over the phone. I'll try again but thank you
You were able to get them to apply it over the phone? I have 6% off with credit card but that extra 4% would be nice lol.

I received 12ah batteries since they couldn't find the 10ah. I didn't even ask they just told me they were hooking me up. Hopefully Ego won't give me any shit when trying to register them.

There are still some by me in Southern California but even at this price I think I'll keep my 10-15 yr old gas riding mower going. The bad reviews aren't very pretty and I've been having more problems with the newer Ego stuff I have than the older stuff. Genuinely about to try another 40v or 80v brand. Hopefully in time things like this get more reasonable in price and also more reliable.
