i know this is a joke, but if you live in a big city or in the rust belt and for some reason you want one, try facebook. i got a working forklift for $500 in NYC. it's around 20 years old. worked in textile and furniture businesses in brooklyn. but it works.

having said that, i don't know if i want to drive it into my living room

I ever came across a working forklift for $500, would snatch up in a second!!

i will always buy jamo and Klipsch speakers due to their customer service. i had issues and they replaced mine multiple times until they upgraded me to the reference model for free. i was blown away by the quality. i highly recommend it.

no i bought the jamo sub for like $150 and every 3 months of normal use and it kept making popping sound when on idle. it was replaced 4 times! yes you heard it right it was replaced 4 times and they paid for shipping and everything. they even sent me the replacement before i ship mine back. on the 5th time, the replacement was OOO so they offered the reference model.

the reference model is the best subwoofer i ever heard. yeah it didnt have any issues for the past year so i am sure that it was a manufacturing defect on jamo's part.

anyway, i recommend Klipsch because they tried to resolve it everytime and never blamed me.

For one, you likely won't need another one with the 16" and secondly, in case you want another one, you don't have to think about upgrading to 16" at that time. I would get it but I measured my space and it doesn't fit.
