You can get a VEVOR 6L Ultrasonic Cleaner with Heater for $87 direct from VEVOR's official eBay store.
And if you get an Ultrasonic cleaner, you should get one with a heater.

Not much of a deal. Maybe worth $60-70 at best.

I have one of these and it works pretty good.

It uses sound waves through a solution (varies by cleaning type) causing compression waves that generate numerous microscopic cavitation bubbles that clean surfaces. As long as you know what you're doing, these work well. However, most people won't need something like this. If you doing something like cleaning circuit boards, jewelry, etc... this could be a handy device to have.

I have a vevor 6l also with heater that looks very similar.
I've had it about 2-3 years. Worked great at first. 1 y into it and i have to bang it on the side to get the sonicator going with increasing frequency. It's almost useless at this point. On the plus side I feel like the Fonz.....
Maybe they have improved with more recent models. I'll be getting 10L at some point to replace it.
1st gif i've ever seen posted in 20+ years on slickdeals! What's your secret??

What's the actual mechanism this cleans by? If it's superior, why isn't it built into dishwashers?
Ultrasonic sound waves that go through the cleaning solution/water you have. The items has to be submerged in the solution for it to work, so it wouldn't work in dishwashers unless your dishwasher filled the entire cavity with water and had a much larger unit to produce ultrasonic sound waves.

I have a harbor freight one that I used to clean my guns after the range, auto parts, tools, etc. it's definitely handy with the right solution depending on what you're cleaning. I just used mine the other night with evaporust to get rid of some pretty bad rust on my spade bits. What normally would have been a day of soaking, I was able to achieve in 10 minutes with the ultrasonic cleaner.

It can be used on jewelry and glasses too. A notes though, don't put pearls or other organic gemstones in it, you will destroy them. Also the ultrasonic cleaner can damage the protective coating on some glasses.

The vevor stuff can be found cheaper on their site directly or through AliExpress.

A friend of mine says this is incredible for that. From black and tar, back to clear (and he means CLEAR) glass.

Blatantly misprepresenting the volume. See one of the video reviews where the 3L one fills up to the fill line with less than 2L, with a more than 1/3rd of the volume sitting on the table. Wonder what else is exaggerated

I needed something like this for cleaning my dentures and came across this CREWORKS Professional Jewelry Cleaning Machine for $45
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075FTFD3R

It's way overkill for what I need but just thought I would point it out

A big one will clean up old cast iron cookware found on estate and farm sales. A coworker made one off a YouTube video and makes good spare cash cleaning this stuff and various old tools. He took the buildup right off several old Wagner skillets my late mother had that were my grandmother's.

You can also use one as a resin cleaner to get the remaining liquid resin off the model before curing. I'd really recommend water washable resin if you are going the heater route. Warming up alcohol is a nice way to get a fire going.

The one that OP linked to has a drain on it while another version linked in this thread did not have the drain spout on it. The 3L versions are pretty popular to make ultrasonic record cleaners.

I think the Harbor Freight cleaner is hit or miss, but I'm glad you got a good one. I bought one on Marketplace and it doesn't work well enough to get much off. The guy I bought it from never used it.
