Sim & plan are registered to phone.
Use a BYOP sim after activation to move plan to a different unlocked phone.

Just got the phone in the mail, seem like a returned product, screen protector sticker was removed and stick back on and sim card was missing smh

Then you should also return. There really wasn't a SIM card in the device? Sounds like someone activated the plan and removed the SIM before returning. If you were expecting a SIM in the box, that's not how TracFone does these. The SIM would be installed in the device.

I can't answer that definitively, but I have waited at least 4 months between activations without issue.

so i hear a lot of hype over the referral rewards for tracfone but it all seems very complicated. Is there a "Tracfone referral rewards for Dummies" out there somewhere? I've purchased over half dozen phones in the past year, but never took advantage of any referrals.

Also, yes this BLU View 5 is a real dog. I had it just for a glovebox phone and still couldn't stand it. I replaced it with a lowly Moto G Play 2024 and it's worlds better. I got it with the Unlimited talk/text and 24GB data, so at least I was able to hold onto that when i moved on to the Moto.

I got the deal with the two moto G play 23 a few weeks back. I am currently using one of the sims in my unlocked iPhone. I haven't had any issues.
