This is a nice, budget /r/AsianBeauty product but imo for me personally I really couldn't deal with the smell in the morning and found myself making excuses to not wash my face and it also left my skin feeling kind of tight.

I don't have this particular cleanser, but I have another from cosrx with tea tree oil. The smell is from the tea tree oil. It smells unpleasant, but it is one of the safe essential oils, and it is good for acne control. I don't find that the smell lingers on the skin once you rinse it. This cleanser also includes BHA, which is an exfoliant, so this is best for people with oily acne prone skin.
