Bought this a couple weeks ago after my MacBook Pro 16 charging cable bit the dust.
It works great and charges fast, but honestly the "rugged durable" nylon exterior of the cord makes it kinda a pain in the ass to roll up and throw back into the backpack. It gets kinks and stuff…sorta annoying I dunno. Just my two cents that I offer to my fellow slick dealers.
I think the nylon is what keeps it from tearing up prematurely. The benefits is that it doesn't pinch so quickly, the drawback is that it is a PITA to roll up.
That lifetime warranty is a joke. I have 3 Anker cables that I bought specifically for that one clickbait feature, turns out Anker just ignores your emails and there is absolutely ZERO post sale support for any of these cables.
Anker used to be the quality choice for cables, but over the last 10 years I've ended up with all my old Anker stuff working but the new ones often breaking. I'm fairly gentle with cables, but I stopped trusting Anker to be the backpack / airport cable due to higher than acceptable failure rates, baseus in the bag/bedside for charging, cable matters at my desk for data.
