I bought this during Black Friday ($300) and like it. Didn't need a mop on a robot vacuum and didn't want the maintenance that comes with it so this is the latest offering that meet those criteria. It's done a good job thus far—no complaints.

Same reason I got it. This seems the best bang for buck on a self empty and non mopping version.

Assuming this is going to last a few days you could go to capital one shopping and add it to your cart through it and wait a day. Great chance when you go back to COS it'll be at least 10% off cash back, if not higher. They were offering about 20% off for Roborock items during Dec but I reached my self-imposed shopping limit. I'd gladly though buy this directly from Roborock, use the code that the person above me posted, and also get a good cash back

Nice find. I went Amazon because I have their CC with 5% CB. Looks like the coupon evens it out.

Yeah after I ordered it with the above code, I got an email offer for 18% back. I cancelled original order and am repurchasing now. I've tried to tell people about the browser addon but nobody believes me. I saved 40%!!! on a set of four tires and that's not at a jacked-up price, that's off the regular price you find online. It's really amazing.

What addon are you referring to?

I am planning to buy this but was curious about the maintenance you are referring. Can you please elaborate on what is the maintenance needed? Is the one with the docking station for dumping content more beneficial than the other Q5 pro that doesn't come with a docking station that is also currently on deal for $150?

Also, does this come with mopping functionality?

Modern dual-purpose robovacs just have more moving parts(or more points of potential failure) that require extra maintenance: washing/replacing the mopping pads, cleaning solution, clean/dirty water replacement (or mold issues), etc. With the Q5, you just replace the dust bag for the most part. You may need to cut/unwrap hair/string from the sweeping mechanism/pulling large items caught in the rubber roller heads. This entirely depends on how well you prepare the space before running the vacuum.

Appreciate your response. Does this model come with mopping functionality?

How were you able to trade in your S5 Max for the Q5 Max+? The only options I see on the trade in are Q Revo, S7, S8, and S8+.

Thank you this is sweet compared to our first robo vac. We've had a basic E5 series that is nowhere this fancy and it was $500 when we picked it up 6 years ago.
