A Visible # works fine for porting in. $5 for that after using a referral code found easily on Reddit. Google Reddit Visible referral.

I hope this is helpful for others to be well informed.

After activated, the 60-day unlock countdown begins and it should unlock automatically after 60 days pass. After the first month you do not have to pay for 2nd month if you do not want to keep their service. It will still unlock after 60 days.

So I can buy this, use a Google port in, not pay the second month, wait for the 60 day unlock to automatically happen, then send to my brother in Latin America and he can activate it on any cell provider that supports iPhone. Is this accurate?

That's correct. My just unlocked by itself 3 days ago and I did not pay for 2nd month.

iPhone no, android maybe. Restart should do it. Look in settings and it will tell you if unlocked.

Best way is you activate the Visible number immediately using E-Sim. Then you don't have to wait for them to mail you a physical Sim card. You first assign the visible number as an E-sim activation on a compatible phone that can use an E-sim. Then you will get texts to that number on your phone in order to get port out information on it (also can get via email, but you first have to activate the phone's new E-sim from the phone after starting the process online through Visible.IDK what you are referring to as far as not getting a code. What code? $20 off of first month of Visible, referral code? Get from searching Reddit for Visible referral code. A 2FA code from Visible? A 2FA code from ST? I wish I understood your exact issue. Feel free to elaborate on which exact step and code situation you are talking about.
it says number must be ported from "out of track phone network" isint visible part of track phone?

Tracfone uses those towers as well, but I know Visible numbers work for porting to TW, as I just did a couple months ago and now my TW iPhone is unlocked.
Visible changed their referral deal now. No discount for 1st month. Gets it in month 2. Useless for these deals now.
Cheaper right now would be to get a US Mobile light line for a month @ $10 and activate using your e-sim capable phone.
US Mobile requires you to chat to have them send you (via your email) the port out information, and they ask some dumb questions and try to dissuade you maybe with a discount offer, so it is not as smooth as it should be, but easy enough. Took me half an hour via chat because the CSR was probably juggling many chat sessions at once and was slow to reply each time it was their turn.

Old model with only 128gb costs $360. Not worth of it!

OK, I have two phones, waiting for 60 days. What happens at the end of 60 days? Do I just completely erase the phone and configure the eSIM for the number I want?
