A Visible # works fine for porting in. $5 for that after using a referral code found easily on Reddit. Google Reddit Visible referral.

I hope this is helpful for others to be well informed.

After activated, the 60-day unlock countdown begins and it should unlock automatically after 60 days pass. After the first month you do not have to pay for 2nd month if you do not want to keep their service. It will still unlock after 60 days.

I think portin and activation yields 1150 total wireless reward points. 600 points are equal to $5 amazon gift card.

I am currently going through Total Wireless HELL! When it works it works. When it doesn't work, be prepared to sit through countless calls with clueless customer support reps. It's not that you get a bad rep and the next one is good. Every single rep sucks. I have spoken to 7 of them and all of them are clueless. Some of them outright lie.

Stay away from TOTAL WIRELESS!

I switched to Total Wireless in four months ago and got a 4-line service. I purchased a few 4-line $120 monthly subscription cards from Target and called their customer service to apply one of the cards to my account. The CSR applied the card to my main line only. I have spent the last 4 months trying to correct this. I can't even get out of their system until I use up all the service cards I purchased from Target.

Every single Total Wireless CSR I have spoken with is incompetent. They either don't know jack or lie. Every-single-one.

Best way is you activate the Visible number immediately using E-Sim. Then you don't have to wait for them to mail you a physical Sim card.
You first assign the visible number as an E-sim activation on a compatible phone that can use an E-sim. Then you will get texts to that number on your phone in order to get port out information on it (also can get via email, but you first have to activate the phone's new E-sim from the phone after starting the process online through Visible.
IDK what you are referring to as far as not getting a code. What code? $20 off of first month of Visible, referral code? Get from searching Reddit for Visible referral code. A 2FA code from Visible? A 2FA code from ST? I wish I understood your exact issue. Feel free to elaborate on which exact step and code situation you are talking about.

Thank you very much for your reply! I am actually a long-time Visible user using an e-sim on my phone.
While I have no issue getting the port-out information from Visible, the "verification code" I referred to was the code sent from Total Wireless. In the attached screenshot, after I select the phone and payment option ($149.99 for switching) on the page, step 3 "Check if your number is eligible" and I provide my Visible number there. That's where the problem is. I've tried my Google Voice number and it is able to receive the code, but it doesn't work for my Visible number after several attempts.

Order it with your GV number and port your Visible number at activation.

Unfortunately, I am not a regular Total Wireless user and can't recall their steps by heart. All just went as expected. So I hope the suggested method will work for you!
I regularly use $5 Visible numbers for Metro phone deals requiring port-in, ever since they stopped accepting GV numbers. If you need help getting a metro issue or question answered, I would be a good source, and you can PM me. nod

I bought the phone giving a port in number. But since I already have it with the discount, can I just not do a port and get a new number?
