I hope this is helpful for others to be well informed.
After activated, the 60-day unlock countdown begins and it should unlock automatically after 60 days pass. After the first month you do not have to pay for 2nd month if you do not want to keep their service. It will still unlock after 60 days.

Every single Total Wireless CSR I have spoken with is incompetent. They either don't know jack or lie. Every-single-one.

You first assign the visible number as an E-sim activation on a compatible phone that can use an E-sim. Then you will get texts to that number on your phone in order to get port out information on it (also can get via email, but you first have to activate the phone's new E-sim from the phone after starting the process online through Visible.
IDK what you are referring to as far as not getting a code. What code? $20 off of first month of Visible, referral code? Get from searching Reddit for Visible referral code. A 2FA code from Visible? A 2FA code from ST? I wish I understood your exact issue. Feel free to elaborate on which exact step and code situation you are talking about.

While I have no issue getting the port-out information from Visible, the "verification code" I referred to was the code sent from Total Wireless. In the attached screenshot, after I select the phone and payment option ($149.99 for switching) on the page, step 3 "Check if your number is eligible" and I provide my Visible number there. That's where the problem is. I've tried my Google Voice number and it is able to receive the code, but it doesn't work for my Visible number after several attempts.

I regularly use $5 Visible numbers for Metro phone deals requiring port-in, ever since they stopped accepting GV numbers. If you need help getting a metro issue or question answered, I would be a good source, and you can PM me.
