Had the 2023 version and was my daily driver. it worked fine with pretty much all apps, and front camera for selfies was awesome.
It was actually Google's own apps that were wonky sometimes. YouTube and maps used to have a hard time with screen orientation for some reason and would need closing and reopening occasionally.

It was surprisingly tough too. It survived a fall off of a moving car at 35mph(ish) when i forgot I placed it on my hood and started driving.

It bit the dust finally after my kid dropped it in a puddle of water and started having LED stripes on the screen.

That's incorrect. The regular version has been at this price, not the + version.

Customary update policy post Wink. Is this not an expensive paper weight given Motorola's poor update policy and implementation? They promise 3y major version /4y bi monthly security updates but I hear it's implemented haphazardly with poor QC. I can use this as a secondary phone maybe, but how's this for a daily driver if you use a lot of banking / investing apps?

Since the screen protector will need replacement, perhaps handier people could buy a couple of the iFixit kits that Motorola sells, sometime before April, if there's no settlement before that.

Able to do price match and also did trade-in for my broken phone for which samsung asked $350 to repair. Got it for $285 out the door. Slick deal for me.
